Computer Scrap Recycling (Undertakers), owned by Johan Combrinck, is a company that has been in operation for the past five years.  Our office and "undertakers" processing yard is in Brakpan. We are proud members of the Information Technology Association of South Africa (ITA) and thereby subscribe to the ITA Code of Ethics.

The heart of our "Computer Scrap Undertakers" is the controlled collection, safe transporting, environmentally sound storage and dismantling of e-Waste (electronic and electrical waste).

Our collection area covers Gauteng only and we collect and ensure the environmentally sound recycling of the following end-of-life equipment:

OUR SERVICE INCLUDES

The controlled collection, safe transporting, environmentally sound storage and dismantling of e-Waste. We also do computer room, warehouse and office clear-out and will issue you with a "Destruction Certificate" on request.

We also sell second-hand computer spares in good working condition.

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES AND HAZARDOUS/TOXIC MATERIALS POLICY

All collected e-Waste are dismantled and sorted in different grades which is then sold to reputable scrap metal merchants and recycling plants for further processing.  We do not accept radio-active material, smoke detectors, laboratory equipment containing radio-active isotopes and contaminated medical equipment.  We also do not accept any stolen goods!

We believe that through our service we assist government in achieving it's objectives for waste minimisation and thereby contribute to a cleaner environment.  Through re-use and sound recycling, we protect our natural resources for future generations.
